Welcome to Christchurch Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhirechristchurch.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services

1. Christchurch Rental

All vehicle rentals in Christchurch are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out the terms and conditions, insurance information, applicable charges, and your responsibilities for the particular rental. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail for the particular Christchurch rental.

2. Christchurch Eligibility

To rent a vehicle in Christchurch, you must:

Be at least 21 years old for rentals in Christchurch (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photo identification, proof of address and a payment card in the driver's name to cover the security deposit and any incidental charges.

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Christchurch location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and security deposit are typically due at vehicle collection. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$) and include GST where applicable.

4. Christchurch Collection and Return

When collecting a vehicle in Christchurch you must inspect it thoroughly and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage noted on return will be assessed and charged to you.

7. Prohibited Uses — Christchurch

You must not use the rented vehicle in Christchurch for:

Any illegal purpose or activity within Christchurch. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Carrying hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorised drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...

Violating these Christchurch restrictions may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability — Christchurch

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Christchurch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Christchurch's total liability for any claim will not exceed the total fees paid by you for the service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law (Christchurch)

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Christchurch.

10. Changes to Christchurch Terms
